Academy History

The Indy Eleven Pro Academy traces its roots to 2007, when it was known as Carmel United Soccer Club and the U.S. Soccer Development Academy launched as the nation’s top youth development platform. During this period, the club was competing at the highest levels of youth soccer in Indiana and earning national recognition.

In 2014, Carmel United Soccer Club merged with the Westfield Youth Soccer Association to form Indiana Fire Juniors, creating a broader and more comprehensive elite development platform in Central Indiana.

In 2021, the organization evolved into Indiana Fire Academy, continuing its commitment to high-level player development. In 2023, the academy formally partnered with Indy Eleven and was rebranded as the Indy Eleven Pro Academy, integrating elite youth development directly into the club’s professional pathway.

Today, the Indy Eleven Pro Academy competes in MLS NEXT and USL Academy, providing a clear and structured pathway from youth development to collegiate and professional opportunities.
